One More Time
A Gleaming and Novel Sculpture
Completed March 2025
Humanity feels divided, and those out of our immediate view seem forgotten.
Woefully, this seems to be the case with today’s social landscape. One More Time begs to differ. This 15’ tall, modern, geometric, figurative sculpture in stainless steel stands in defiance of the current divisive mindset, simultaneously reminding us to love our neighbors and also to rekindle neglected relationships from days past.
This sculpture is an attempt to remind us of the light at the end of the tunnel, that help is here in the community, that we can do it together, and to not forget those who’ve been with us along the way. Half of its 458 individual pieces are welded together and polished to a mirror’s shine, the other half golden. Where the two figures touch, they trade colors, changing one another as we all do. One More Time has no age, race, or gender, so not only can every onlooker literally see themself in the sculpture’s surface, they can put themself into a mindset of connection with their fellow human being.
One More Time is available for viewing at The Lyric (1209 N College Ave, Fort Collins, CO). For purchase inquiries please contact Molotov MetalWorks directly.
